Day 1 :

Day 1: Arrival in Doha

Upon arrival at Hamad International Airport, Qatar's award-winning gateway to the world, you will be warmly welcomed by our dedicated team who will transfer you to your luxury hotel in Doha. This modern architectural marvel serves as the perfect introduction to Qatar's blend of traditional values and forward-thinking vision.

After check-in and some time to refresh, you'll have the opportunity to begin exploring the vibrant capital city at your own pace. Take in the stunning views of Doha's impressive skyline along the Corniche, a 7km waterfront promenade that curves around Doha Bay, offering spectacular panoramic vistas of the city.

As evening approaches, we'll gather for a welcome dinner at a selected restaurant where you'll sample authentic Qatari cuisine while your guide provides an overview of the exciting journey ahead. From the aromatic spices of traditional dishes to the warm hospitality that Qatar is known for, this first evening sets the tone for your week of discovery.

The remainder of the evening is at your leisure to relax at your hotel or perhaps take a gentle stroll along the illuminated Corniche as the city lights reflect beautifully on the Arabian Gulf waters.

Day 2 :

Day 2: Doha City Tour

After breakfast, embark on a comprehensive exploration of Doha's highlights. Visit the magnificent Museum of Islamic Art, an architectural masterpiece housing 1,400 years of Islamic artifacts. Next, explore the vibrant Souq Waqif with its narrow alleyways, traditional crafts, and authentic Arabian atmosphere.

After lunch in the souq, visit the striking National Museum of Qatar, designed to resemble a desert rose crystal. The day concludes with a sunset dhow cruise along Doha Bay, offering spectacular views of the city's illuminated skyline before returning to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3 :

Day 3: Desert Safari to Inland Sea

After breakfast, journey south to experience Qatar's natural wonder, Khor Al Adaid (Inland Sea). Enjoy an exhilarating dune bashing adventure across golden sand dunes. Visit a traditional Bedouin-style camp for lunch and activities including camel riding and sandboarding. Witness the unique phenomenon where the desert meets the sea before returning to Doha in the evening for dinner at your hotel.

Day 4 :

Day 4: Cultural Immersion Day

Begin your day at Katara Cultural Village, Qatar's hub for arts and heritage. Explore beautiful architecture, galleries, and theaters showcasing Qatari culture. Visit the Pearl-Qatar, an artificial island featuring Mediterranean-inspired luxury. After lunch, tour the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum with its vast collection of artifacts. End the day with an authentic Qatari dinner experience with a local family, learning about traditions and customs.

Separated they live in Bookmarksgrove right at the coast of the Semantics, a large language ocean. A small river named Duden flows by their place and supplies it with the necessary regelialia.

Day 5 :

Day 5: Northern Qatar Exploration

Travel north to Al Khor and visit the famous Purple Island, known for its mangrove forests and diverse ecosystem. Continue to Al Zubarah, Qatar's UNESCO World Heritage site featuring a well-preserved 18th-century fort and archaeological remains. Enjoy lunch at a coastal restaurant before exploring the limestone formation of Ras Abrouq (Zekreet) with its distinctive desert landscape and "film city" set. Return to Doha for an evening at leisure.

Day 6 :

Day 6: Modern Qatar & Luxury Experience

Visit Education City with its cutting-edge architecture housing prestigious international universities. Tour the futuristic Msheireb Downtown Doha, the world's first sustainable downtown regeneration project. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing afternoon at one of Qatar's premier beach resorts with optional spa treatments and water activities. Day 7: Departure Day

Enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast at your hotel. Depending on your departure time, take one last shopping opportunity at one of Doha's modern malls or local boutiques for souvenirs. Visit the stunning National Library of Qatar if time permits. Transfer to Hamad International Airport for your departure flight, concluding your 7-day journey through the treasures of Qatar.

How long do we walk every day when doing Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

On average, you walk about 4 to 6 hours per day. One or two days can be as less as 3hrs and one or two days can be as long as 7hrs.

What is the highest altitude reached in this trek?

The highest altitude reached is 4190m. This is the elevation of Annapurna Base Camp. ABC is the highest we will climb in this trek.

What about battery charging and hot shower facilities?

Yes, you can charge batteries en route. Charger should be brought. There are hot shower facilities as well. You may have to pay a certain amount for both ($1-$2). Negotiate. Also, a hot water facility could be free at a lower elevation.

Are there ATMs on the way to Annapurna Base Camp?

No. There are no ATMs on this trek route. You will have to draw enough cash in Pokhara or Kathmandu. There are a number of ATMs in these cities. Everything is paid in Nepali rupees. So money should be exchanged before the start of the trek.

Is it necessary to hire Guides/trekking agency for Annapurna Base Camp trekking?

Not really. It depends on you. If you want, ABC trekking can be done independently. You could hire a guide and a porter by yourself instead of going through an agency or not hire a guide at all. Although, not having a guide can be a little problematic during the offseason.

It really depends on you. Is it your first time in Nepal? How confident are you of being able to find your way around? How pressed on time are you? If you go through an agency, it will be costlier but everything will be planned. You will only have to come, trek and return.

How much do guides and porters cost?

For the Annapurna region, pay for guides range from $20 to $30 per day and porters take $15 to $25 per day.
